Efficient heat management

The pioneering bZ4X heating system offers fantastic efficiency and reduced electricity consumption. It uses a low-power, high-efficiency heat pump system for superior cruising range. It absorbs heat from outside air and uses it to warm the vehicle during winter. This ensures heating and air conditioning are available at extreme temperatures and wastes significantly less energy than standard air conditioning systems.

Toyota has drawn on more than 25 years’ experience in electrified vehicle battery technology to ensure the new lithium-ion unit in bZ4X has world-leading quality, durability and reliability.

Plus, Toyota’s confidence in the quality of the battery is reflected in a guarantee it will retain at least 70% of its capacity up to 10 years, covered by the original EV Manufacturing Warranty until 8 years or 160.000 kilometres, and with the additional Extended Battery Care up to 10 years or 1 million kilometres driven that is activated by an annual EV Health Check (T&C apply).
